i got 82.15....clearly NO WHERE near to what most of you guys have got but i only need 75 so im stoked :)
hey do people know much about double degrees?? would it generally mean you were at uni twice as many days as doing a single or what? im contemplating changing my preferences

It just means you're at Uni for a longer amount of time in the long run (i.e 4 years instead of 3 years) However, your semester subject load is exactly the same, the subject sequences are just spaced out over a longer period of time, and you'll get far less electives than someone doing a single degree. It doesn't mean more work.

How does Australian student prizes work? do only ppl with the perfect 99.95 get them?

I think it's the top 100 students in Victoria ranked by aggregate without scaling. So no even if you got 99.95 you are not guaranteed it, if you did like Spesh, Latin and Hebrew :P or some other huge scalers

Reckon I might possibly have a chance for this award?

I was so pissed off, a 49 was in my bottom two. Damn VCAA, my ENTER could have been slightly higher (and thus meet personal goal and make me satisfied) if Further had been in my top 4...
