ok, I'm not even going to try then.

Thing is it doesn't make a difference to me what uni I goto in terms of having to move, so I'm still not sure, ANU double degree shared with singapore uni sounds interesting (actuarial studies/economics, IIRC). now the more important matter is to do well enough to get there

I was doing badly in English the entire year - I should have gracefully accepted this and moved on lol.

Thanks everyone, I do agree - now is the time to just accept what I got and look at it for its worth. It's an awesome score, I'm just being a pedantic freak :(
99.75 or 99.95, either way ur getting into your top preference. Or did u just want ur photo in the paper ;)?

But even then, not every 99.95 achiever gets their name in the paper. Actually someone on the news got a 99.65.

To me there really is no difference between 99.95 and 99.75

It's not a bad score - it just doesn't reflect the hours of preparation that I did, nor does it meet my personal goals. That's all. I've said this so many times - it's all very subjective, the VCE system. ENTER scores that might thrill another person may disappoint another etc - this is an example of its subjectivity. Everyone's work ethic and effort is different and so are their personal expectations of performance.
Raw Scores:
Psychology 50 | Mathematical Methods 49 | Further Mathematics 49 | Accounting 49 | Chemistry 44 | English 43

But isn't that with most education systems, not just with VCE?  The scores that people get might "thrill" or "disappoint" another?

If it's the 5th course that you want then leave it.  However, my advice would be to leave the 3 "dream" courses on your list despite getting a lower ENTER.  You never know what might happen and you don't want to kick yourself if the Clearly-In for one of those courses drops and then finding out that you could have made it.  :)

there's not a lot you can do now, may as well look forward to the future - you're clearly capable!
what are you doing next year?
