Didn't your school used to dominate VCE back in 2004-2005?

I've moved to the best VCE TAFE provider in the state as far as results go for next year to try and do as good as possible.

Their 2008 results were:
Median 29 with 7% above 40.  Says  alot about TAFE lol.

Be interesting to see how they went this year. I did see someone from there got a perfect SS in a subject, I forgot which subject it was though.

Edit: Just checked their 09 results.  Median down to 28, and 5% above 40.  FML!

^How are you only 17, yet you go to a centre for ADULT education.

Aren't those centres for 20-50 year olds wanting to do VCE/get an education?

Nope, anyone 16 years and over can enroll.  I moved straight from year 10 to TAFE.  This year I was at RMIT.  That place sucks big time!

I love it compared to normal school.  No uniform/co-curriculum, plus you study what you wan't.
You have to be disciplined though, because teachers aren't as tight and won't annoy you to do work.  It's entirely up to you.
Also you got to be careful not to mix with the wrong people, which is the main reason why I moved from RMIT to CAE.
Timetable is looking awesome for next year.  I get every Wednesday and Friday off.  Loads of time to study.  :)
It's not for everyone though...

And as for age demographic, most people at RMIT this year were students who were repeating year 11, so you can wonder what type of people who attend TAFE are like LOL.  I use the term "students" and "attend" very lightly haha.

Majority are under 25 years old.  I'd say less than 10% above 25 years.

Mmm, how big are the classes and how many people per class would care about doing well?

yeah i can imagine your disciplined you'd have to be, pretty crazy how much to do really well. but if you are able to, best idea. i actually considered it - i want to do EL there so bad still:( im gonna try and find a way (wont be able to)

if i studied there i'd have one class a day and friday off.  hah soo good.

that would be discouraging if no one else was really doing work, and wouldn't you sac marks be brought down due to that? just smash the exams !:

goodluck next year there:) it's sounds cool as.
