I remember I came across a thread where somebody asked this, but I cannot remember who, so I decided to make a thread.

I found this useful! For although you may think your SS is bad, you do feel better knowing your placement amonsgt the state

so basically the percent of the state get on and above this figure!

I think he used normal distribution: mean=30 and sd=8

nah sd=7.

its pretty easy with a calc. just have to do a few wierd things to make it exact like to get study score 40, make the lower value 39.5 and upper value 1000+
