Some interesting VTAC stats

Hey

I found this on the VTAC website

http://www.vtac.edu.au/statistics.html

It provides an interesting snapshot of the last decade or so.

Some stats include the number of males/females who choose degrees in the health/science/environment/engineering fields.

Number of people who choose Monash/Vic Uni etc as their first preferences based on region

A table of EVERY subject (which looks like the scaling report), and how many people had "x" subject be in their primary 4, how many people had "x" subject as the highest 10% of the state

There was also one "Section H", which shows the RANGE of ENTERS, and how many people got from "( ) to ( )" by REGION

Enjoy :)

In particular, there was a user on here who wanted to know the ratio of men/women doing a course at University, and I remember people started helping him, and some1 said "dont choose it based on this", it was related to engineering? I think?

If the person can let me know he has READ THIS THREAD, because there is a page about how many men/women do engineering.

So that if he doesn't reply, I can search him on here, and let him know!!
