Some good Kite Runner websites;

Some Discussion Questions Scroll down

Free online study guide includes chapter summary, setting, themes etc

Discussion questions

I know many of these only contain a few '"questions", but I really liked them because they were DEEP, and really made me THINK compared to the ones given at school. Personally, I reckon if you can answer these and write paragraph responses, you are practically writing "mini-essays", because some of the themes etc found in these questions are inter-changeable with exam style essay questions.

Catcher in the Rye

Free online study guide Inc. chapter summary, themes, characters

Chapter Summary, theme analysis, 10 quotes, metaphor analysis

Chapter summary, symbols, character map, questions

btw all of these were obtained from quick google searches, but I did go through to filter the useless results.

Unfortunately The Kite Runner is no longer on the '10 VCE English book list :(

Catcher is still on the list for Identity and Belonging though so thanks for the effort + sharing resources!

No worries!

Oh I knew it! I was hesitant about posting it up, because I remember my teacehr was saying sometihng like that, but I thought it was only MY SCHOOL, because they said "we can't have it for more than 5 years in a row" or something like that, but by "we" they must have meant Victoria.

Thanks for that ><

err maybe I should leave it for future generations =P
