I'm using a Firefox add-on called AdBlock.
It would depend on what browser you use as to how to block ads (and the logo which I am pretending is an ad too). I can't help much beyond 'GET FIREFOX LOLZ'
Probably make a thread asking in the technology + game forum as more people will notice it there :)

It's really easy to set up too, i don't know why they haven't - the majority of forums do it, its very nice :)
