I agree with you.
There's no need to do hours each day, its possible to do really well with just minor homework. with just studying quite a few hours before sacs and then the exam.
yes, but everyone's different so I don't think you should assume what works for you may work for everyone. The truth is everyone's doing different subjects so everyone will have different study requirements to get a specific ENTER/ATAR. It's also apparent that not everyone will be getting 99.95, though studying a few hours a day will get you awfully close.
I am also aware that there may be people out there who can pull an awfully high ENTER/ATAR with only 1-2 hours a day but you'd want to feel as though you've given it your best.

however, if you find a way to use your time efficiently, you can reduce a lot of study time.
i didn't mean 99.95 high, i meant 97-98 range, which i'm sure some could reach will much, much less study in comparison with someone aiming for 99.50+
if i was aiming for 99.95, i would be doing a ridiculous amount of study, but considering i'm not as i don't think it's actually possible, i won't be trying THAT hard. heh
