This is misleading and deceptive. It's not actually free methods tutoring, it's free instructional videos. Free tutoring implies interaction between you and the student. Really, it's just a video of you, there's no interaction going the other way. :-/ In your marketing strategy for this, you really shouldn't underestimate the intelligence and skepticism of your public. Doing this will only result in pretty awful PR for your product, as you're seeing right now.

Enwiabe: Free tutoring implies interaction between you and the student? Let's check with the dictionary. "tutoring" is defined as:  'a teacher without institutional connection who assists students in preparing for examinations.'

Assists - could come in many forms. Video included. Don't like competitors in your niche, do you? ;)

"Platinum Insider Membership, worth $1497"

what the fuck?
huh?

Look down at your PPPS.

What is a platinum insider membership? Is there a gold, silver or bronze? Also how much do people pay? How is this membership valued at 'over $1,000'.

A lot of people are skeptical since it's only you on YouTube (not your team), I don't know what scores you got (or your team's). You also have only drifted through VN and don't have a reputation, atleast EVERYBODY knows the people from XLL academy.

It seems fair to give the guy a chance to explain, but it seems as though some information asymmetry is happening.

With a business starting, it will be scrutinised in every way because people are taking a risk by not knowing much information about it.

*purrkat*, it may seem like XLL Academy is targeting flusher now, since I have joined in on this.

However, please learn to proxy the next you do something like this. You may claim you two are not the same person, but logging on within two minutes of each other and posting from the same IP, you can't say your comment is unbiased.

I must state that this has got nothing with my affiliation with XLL Academy, this is me as a GMod posting a warning for possibly misleading readers. Evidence has been screen-capped, deleting posts won't help if you are thinking about it.

Flusher, the way you advertise just screams dodgyness. This incident doesn't really help things.

Lol, this really ain't helping your rep. It would've looked a lot better if you just posted that reply.

Your site needs more info though, for example, including what exactly is the over 1 grand membership thingy is (people get worried once they see a high price tag). Also the front page doesn't actually tell you what you will be getting if you sign up that well and does give an aura that your hiding something. Eh, just my thoughts. :P

Mao, my friend. How predictable this comment was. Do you think I am unaware of what a proxy is? You amuse me. I have put my website up. You can find me on facebook: www.facebook.com/naynay1

I happen to actually think flusher's project is great. Deal with it. (You too, Zachcharge)
