isnt there some super long (7years) triple degree at monash?

bachelor of medicine, surgery and laws?
i thought it was like 7 and a half years

There is a MBBS/LLB programme at Monash which is about 7 years, if you manage to actually complete it in that length. You can only enter it from Year 1 MBBS though.

You'd have to be nuts to be able to take the course.

I personally think that for some areas taking a double can do more to hamper your employment prospects more than aid them.

For example, I don't really think taking a double degree in Engineering/X is always that beneficial.

It stops you from taking extra electives in your Engineering component. Therefore while broadening your knowledge in other areas it actually has the potential to "un-broaden" your Engineering knowledge.

I was considering applying for Eng/Science purely to pursue personal interests at an academic level. In the end I decided i'd rather focus on Eng and didn't wan to tack on an extra year.
Ever tried. Ever Failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better

they only accept like 10 or so students each year to do it, so i guess maybe a few less would finish the whole thing? crazyy...

nope you are right, you can finish it in less then seven years depending on how much you overload. i read this on the website before o_o i wouldn't think there would be many at all who would attempt and overload a lot to finish it in under seven years though.

I think that's because entry is only AFTER first year MBBS

Then that just makes it super-duper special - not to mention prestigious.

Yup, after preparing for the Monash MBBS interview, you have to do another one to get into Med/Law

Well, 8 years minus the years spent on the degree that you end up using.
