Well, 8 years minus the years spent on the degree that you end up using.

Yup, that's still a very long time to be at uni!
Longer than high school! :P
Remember, remember the 5th of November

2010 - MM CAS (47) - Cisco 1+2 (pass :P)
2011 - Eng - Phys - Chem - Spesh - Latin - UMAT
ATAR - 99.00+ plz... :)

Feel free to PM me for anything :D

I know, I agree that the degree is pointless.

If you choose to be a lawyer - a med degree is useless to most legal firms

If you choose to be a doctor - you still have years and years of specialisation and internships to go... years which you wasted on your law degree (though you'll be well versed in what not to do to get sued for negligence!!!!!!)

lol! Take a maths professor, 4 years to get a B.Sc(Honours) + 3 - 4 years for a PhD ~ 8 years of uni. So it's long, but not an unusual amount of time studying.
2008: Finished VCE

2009 - 2011: Bachelor of Science (Mathematical Physics)

2012 - 2014: Master of Science (Applied Mathematics/Mathematical Physics)

2016 - 2018: Master of Engineering (Civil)

Semester 1:[/b] Engineering Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Risk Analysis, Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering

Semester 2:[/b] Earth Processes for Engineering, Engineering Materials, Structural Theory and Design, Systems Modelling and Design

It is for your Bachelor degree.

Yeah for a bachelor degree I would say 8 years is long.
