I sure hope so!

40 is the benchmark for me.  45+ would be nice.

yeah exactly. this would be my dream, i have zero hope to get even 45+ for englang and methods though, so my dreams can't even be thought of.

tutors, work hard, a good enough mark is doable - in reality you dont need much above 99 for any course...

you may surprise yourself vexx.  seen my tutor twice now, and i am thoroughly enjoying englang.  absolutely shits all over english!

I'll personally be happy with just one 50.  Would be nice to be able to say I aced one subject. 
But I am much more concerned about the UMAT lol.

^ yeah i had my first englang class and we only had an intro, so much better then english i can tell.
i saw a tutor the other day before my class, and there is so much more work then english as he has explained and shown me, and he was hesitant to say that i will be able to get 40+ and it's quite difficult
"we'll see when we start doing work" he says.
he crushed my hopes and dreams of a 42 (my low goal.)

i knowww i think i have a chance with a couple of my subjects (especially if i stick with further and do the work! but i would be ecstatic with a few 47+'s)

out of curiosity, is your EL teacher Elaine Henry?

....and my tutor says with EL, the examiners don't even read your essay properly.  they merely skim through it looking for certain 'things', and apparently the more of these 'things' in your essay, the better the mark you will get lol.

hah maybe methods and EL for you (bio/chem moreso), but methods i probs wont even get 40. nahh if i do further i will ignore methods because it'll end up being my 7th subject and aim high in further. i will see in a few weeeeks!
