If anyone is contemplating the benefit of the study skills lecture, I'll give you the lecture now:
-Stay consistent throughout the year but don't overwork yourself
-"A stitch in time saves nine" - keep knowledge alive, revise content the same night, the next week, the next month and then three months after that.
-Give unit 3 your best; if your subject has a midyear this is your chance to get ahead of those who aren't taking year 12 seriously yet, if not, relieve pressure from unit 4. In unit 4 there is much less time available, and also revision to fit in, if you are behind it will stress you much more, stay ahead, this will keep you sane and in control.
-Stay relaxed in exams, think through things, don't panic. Panicking produces mind blocks and limits your ability to complete the exam; the key is to stay calm.
-If you do go blank, just start working through the question, do what you would do with any question. Just going through the motions may help you catch onto something allowing you to solve/answer the question.
I'll go get the notes from last year and add anything important which I missed.
I'm planning on sitting at the back of the skills lecture... just in case it's boring lol.. otherwise middle/front for the others
Annahinh, just come up to me lol, I'll be expecting it xD... I'll even go to lunch with ya lol.
