yes, whisper when your teacher's writing stuff at the front while supervising.

pro: you may possibly decide to change your correct answers according to your mate's solutions and loose some marks.

con: your teacher may have the ears of a dog and kick you outta the classroom,  :P

Our teachers are super-strict during SACs (even the non-important 1/2 ones...), so no I don't think you would be allowed to talk during SACs.
Then again, schools may be different ;)

Depends on SAC + school I guess. I had plenty of take home SACs, or SACs where we could help each other out.

In methods, the whole class could discuss the SAC for 10 minutes before starting (without consulting the teacher) - most  ppl were reserved as they didnt want to endanger their rank.

Depends on the teacher really. My methods teacher let us talk even though we weren't meant to, and my friend in my chemistry SAC stood up at the front of the room, walked all the way to the back of the room, asked for the answer to a question from me, and walked all the way back and wrote it down. Our chemistry teacher just smiled at him.
