BM is not that hard as there is not much room for interpretation regarding content. I would simply download the study design off VCAA and ensure I can tick off and have a good understanding of all the key knowledge areas, as these areas are what your teacher can assess you on in your sac.

For Unit 3 Area of Study 1 the key knowledge areas are, (from page 21/22 of the study design)

Quote
LSO's in Context: Key Knowledge areas
• the context which contributes to the unique nature of large-scale organisations;
• characteristics of large-scale organisations;
• variations in types of large-scale organisations, their objectives and related business strategies;
• typical management functions in large-scale organisations, including operations, finance, human
resources, marketing, and research and development;
• contributions, both positive and negative, of large-scale organisations to the economy;
• internal and external (operating and macro) environments of large-scale organisations;
• performance indicators used to evaluate the performance of large-scale organisations, including the
percentage of market share, net profit figures, the rate of productivity growth, the number of sales,
results of a staff and/or customer satisfaction survey, the level of staff turnover, level of wastage,
number of customer complaints and number of workplace accidents;
• identification and characteristics of stakeholders of large-scale organisations, including their
interests, possible conflicts and related ethical and socially responsible considerations.

I would go through and make brief notes on the dot points in preperation for your upcoming SAC.

This is what I'd be doing in preperation for all SAC's throughout the year. Subject study designs are found on the VCAA website.

2c, MBA.

Make sure you know the content, from the study design and notes. Also take into account any hints your teacher has given you, intentionally or not. Also know what the questions are like, how they are stated, and how you are meant to respond. Make sure you address all parts of the questions, make special note of key words such as define, give an example, distinguish, explain, etc. And make sure you do define or give an example if required!

EDIT:
Business is not a very difficult subject, the material is quite basic(I thought). Though the part where I fell short was in the structure and content of my responses. Jam lots of justification in, and just keep writing, relating everything back to the case study. I've been told the general rule is write twice as much as you think you should. If your teacher has already given specific advice for answering questions, follow that rather than mine.  :)

Anyway, good luck! Full marks, going for 50, yeah? :P :P

Did you do it? What SS did you get? If not, you shouldn't say that.

You don't need full marks in every SAC to get a 50..

You don't need full marks in any SAC to get 50, merely the highest score in your school.

As opposed to full marks, yes, merely.

At my school the two were equally as difficult! Top couple of students basically had full marks.

lol. depending from school, i know i did not achieve full marks and some students who did (mfkers).

i ended up getting a higher SS then those with higher marks. my grades were like this . Unit 3 B+[88/100],  Unit 4A+ [97/100] , Exam A+ .
only one or two students bet me. if only i had those top marks. 43+ == . only if i tried in unit 3, sac one. that sac cost me 12 marks or so T_T. ..
