Diploma of music

Hey guys

I was interested in doing a diploma of music alongside my bachelors degree (at melbourne if i get in). I was just wondering a few things.

1)What standard do you have to be?
2)How many subjects does it count as, ie would i have to add another year to my degree?
3) What is involved in the diploma? As in wat subjects do you do/do you have to play in an ensemble(s), how do lesson work, ect.

If it makes any difference, i play Double Bass and Electric Bass. Primarily Doubble Bass. I'm more into jazz, but classical is cool as well.

Any and all info is greatly appreciated:)

I heard that you don't get much lesson time with the individual teachers...
