A uniform rod, 4 metres long and weighing 4kg, lies on a table with one end projecting over. A weight of 8kg hung 1/2 of a metre from the projecting end will just upset the rod. What length of the rod projects?

My answer 1m..

I'm not sure if it's asking from the edge of table to end of sticking out rod or from table to the weight...
