Just wondering, if i go to MHS and i end up getting a high A for my unit 3 sacs, but i get a mid-high A+ on th exam, would they those sacs get marked up to an A+? And would they get marked up if i get a low A+ on the exam?

It depends entirely on where you are ranked within the cohort and how the cohort as a whole performs in the exam.

Cohort does shit, and your SAC mark will probably be moderated down.
If the cohort does well, your mark will get moderated up.  Seeing as you go to MHS, the second scenario is highly likely. :)

this is great... my cohort has been performing extremely average this year in BM and I really don't want my SAC marks to drop!

Same with mine, especially after the last SAC we did. there was only 6 Very Highs (A+) out of a cohort of 70.. with the rest being Medium or below (C+ to C)

Well i find that my cohort for business management is pretty good...i'd expect that at the moment i'd be in the bottom half of the cohort.

It really rests on the exam. Also at MHS because each class does a different SAC (that's how it happened last year anyway) scores are scaled up internally. After counting up my scores I worked out that I got 85/100 for Unit 3 and 93/100 for Unit 4, not bad but clearly not at the top of the cohort. I still managed to receive a study score of 50. I got a statement and it showed that my school scores are 91/100 for Unit 3 and 4 (scaled internally) and then scaled up to 99 and 100 after the exam for which i got 115/120. Just make sure you're ready for and do well on the end of year exam (Y).

Are you serious? I you have sworn you would need 120/120 on that exam for a 50 :O
That is insane! I got 111/120 and that got 44. So the difference between a 44 and a 50 was 2 marks on the exam, would have never expected that.  Btw congrats on the 50 that is awesome.

I told her about this and she was like that's tarnished my score haha. I reckon she would have gotten like 57/60. or maybe the same as the person that got 50, our school's cohort would have dragged her down or something I bet.

woo good old padua, oh well, it makes me feel better knowing that i don't need as high (Only 58/60 instead of 60/60 hahah)
And you said last years was easy? Hopefully ours is harder and a 50 will only be about 55/60 :)

As long as you're ranked #1, your marks will not be effected. The only implication upon your SAC marks are your exam results, which can bring your marks up or down, depending how you perform.
