help with gradient/points questions??

once i get the hang of the question i should be alright but right now i have no idea how to do it. help anyone please?? :)

find the co-ordinates of the points on the curve (x^2-1)/x at gradient of the curve is 5

how do u do this??

also
given that the curve ax^2 + b/x has gradient -5 at the point (2,-2)  find the value of a and b

im so stuck plz help!

first derive the first equation, set to = 5 solve for x

Then sub x back into original equation to get the y-coord :P.

Also: second question is similar to this one http://vcenotes.com/forum/index.php/topic,25215.msg275585.html#msg275585, if you still can't do it, I'll do your example for you.
