what should i tell them

well, my maths teacher has asked me to talk to the current year 12 methods students about the exam and some tips. anyone got any? not, like, topic specific, but ...i dunno, other tips? (apart from do 50 practice exams...)

and yes i do realize there is an 'exam tips' thread. its just very topic-specific. but still good.

so, all you methods people- what should i tell them?

I dunno.  I pushed ahead over the summer, so it allowed me to identify areas which I need to improve in early on.  Possibly suggest that they should try and get ahead in the holidays.  If they can teach themselves the easier things, then they can come to class armed with more difficult questions, and spend class time working through more complex problems together instead of losing time learning basic concepts which can easily be learnt from their textbook in their own time.

haha i would
but my teacher would be standing right there..and he would know.

maybe i'll just tell them how not to study.

@stonecold: did you do everything over the holidays? you seem to have been ahead in everything...

nahh.  I got up to antidiff about 3 months ago and haven't done anything since.   these holidays, I somehow hope to cover the rest of methods, chem and bio plus do umat prep.  never going to happen but it's nice to dream about haha...

Good luck! I'd like to do some chem and phys, but skiing defs takes priority :P
