Unit 4 = small

Just wondering, is everyone else finding unit 4 really small?

Theory-wise I really can't see all that much...

Yes I find it very small and thus easy... I understood the endothermic/exothermic rate of reaction chapter quite easily. Equilibrium took me around a week to fully understand. Acid and base took me about a lesson and same with sulfuric acid. and thats area of study 1 done.

Ofcourse I have to start on exam questions, but Ive practise a few with the le chatliers rule and stuff.

Some people find it really hard to understand the concepts, thats why they might find it hard

ITS HARD AS :(

when first learning the stuff... it's like HUH WHAT?!

after doing some questions and re-reading 100x... it kinda sinks in, but it takes a lot longer than the stuff in unit 3

i get fast/slow rates, le chateliers... but pH and acid/base equilibrias doing my head in

Cause I'm reading over it and wondering if anyone is finding it challenging.

Another good thing is that most all the equilibrium related content can be derived on the spot logically. :D

Though I've heard that there is much rote-memorisation required with cells.

Really? To me it is all quite logical..  :-\

Mm... these super hard pH questions and Ka, Kw... and not to mention they expect you to know things like "benzoic acid" "chloroacetic acid" (as in the semi structural name thingie ie. CH2ClCOOH)

unit 4 is easier for sure, i mean ther'e now ay i could've done AOS1 from unit three by myself, but for unit for i ahve been abel to pretty muhc work thu AOS1 by myself......AOS2 dosne;t look to challengeing either....the course is DEFS shorter tho....ignoring the difference in difficulty of the concepts

Which textbook do you use? Im using heinemann chemistry 2. and pretty much cannot do ANY of the long worded questions without looking at worked solutions... *bangs head*
