Guys do you think the clearly in ENTER/ATAR for engineering will go up at RMIT since UoM scrapped the standalone engineering degree?

i really hope it doesn't. If it does, how much do you think it will go up?

It could go up if more people apply for engineering at RMIT and RMIT doesn't increase the number of places.  Although it's relatively easy to predict the trend in future years, it's almost impossible to predict how much a certain will go up in a certain year.  This is because the ENTER/ATAR doesn't reflect on the quality of the course but rather the supply and demand of the course.  If supply is high and demand is low, then the Clearly-In will be low.  Conversely, if supply is low and demand is high than that will push the Clearly-In through the roof.

It also depends on the academic achievements of the cohort.  If many people applying for engineering at RMIT achieve high ENTERs/ATARs, then that will also push the Clearly-In higher as well because you need to accommodate for them as well.

monash and RMIT will probably both increase, and i think the demand for an Engineering degree is becoming higher year after year from what I see..But i believe the increase may not be very dramatic considering that there is still a large number of people aiming for the Engineering pathway through science at UoM and that their guaranteed pathway is rather achievable - H3 average plus 95 ATAR. maybe that explains the increase in cut-off for Science at uOm
well the limit can turn into a threshold..
