what raw SS can you get with a low B+ in mid year and a high B+ end of year?

i reckon with an average SAC score of high B+ you're looking at around 35.

35 raw?

yeah. the average is C+ and that would be around 30, so a B+ would get you around 35 raw, which is a really good score.

Got my statement of marks today! I recieved a B+ for Physics, but was only 1 multiple question off getting an A! Talk about frustrating!
Still, considering i found the exam quite difficult I'm rather happy.  The majority of my class got D+'s with only a few getting As and Bs - makes me worried that our SAC marks will scale down :S

D+ average? Shit dude that's not good... sounds like your teacher shouldn't be teaching.

Are you serious? I don't go to that kids school.

But the majority of my class got D's. We had one guy who got an A+, two guys who got B's. I got a C. Then about 8 kids got D's...

Does that mean my teacher shouldn't be teaching. Or is it just that I go to a school, where we don't boast on our academic results. But instead the teacher's encourage us to do subjects that we enjoy, and VCE isn't everything...

Being brutally honest, you won't get Ds if you actually enjoy Physics. And really, just from paying attention in class, I daresay most people should be able to obtain at least a C (45-55%). Hence the teacher appears of questionable quality.

Teacher must be doing something if we have an A+ student. And kids are getting D's and the C like myself, instead of E's of UG. And we are only doing Physics because we have to, as one of our pre requisites. Or thought a science would be fun. We aren't ones who are taking the subject to seriously.
Also paying attention doesn't do much, when you forget all of it on the weekend, every week of the school term. And then trying to study as much as you can the day before the exam.

Well I guess it's largely down to the students, but it does still sound terrible. And I did just remember that it's a rank not a mark... so I'm a bit iffy about it all.

A+ Physics
A+ Chemistry! wOOt! xD

I think I aced the phyiscs exam. Unless they took off a random mark for an explain question I'm pretty confident. :)
Half of our class got an A+ or an A so our teacher was bloody stoked!

I thought I screwed that exam up pretty bad...somehow managed a B+. I'm not that dissappointed, but seeing as how I want to do biomed at Melb. I think it's about time i picked my game up a bit..hopefully get an A+ end of year and get 35-40.

definatly wouldn't question our teacher - he's beyond brilliant - as was shown by the 2 A's and 2 B+'s... i guess some people just have difficulty grasping physics.
