Hi everyone!
I'm starting a website that's going to have study guides for ALL english/esl texts. This website will be FREE, and it's main focus is to help all of you obtain some resources and further your English studies :) It'll be online within the next few months. BUT i need to know, which texts are popular so I can upload the study guides for those texts first (includes Contexts too)? Please let me know what you're studying, what information you're finding hard to find online for those books etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated - especially because it's going to stream back to YOU!
Thank you!
I'm super excited and i hope you guys will be too!
Lisa

- Hi everyone,
just letting you know that the site will be up jan/feb 2011. due to unforeseen events I've had to dedicate more of my time on other projects.
We look forward to the launch!

Are these commercial study guides or study guides you have produced yourself? I don't want to sound like I'm being a tight-arse but if its the former then I'm not sure if you'd be allowed to post them on the forums. VN could get into some big legal doo-doo...

produce them myself.......it's going to be a little different from traditional study guides since it's going to be focused on what VCAA wants from students. i'm ok if vcenotes needs to take this down.

Into Thin Air - Krakauer
1984 - Orwell

Imaginative Landscape (Jindabyne and Island)...

It would be great if you could put some examples of high scoring essays or sections of essays for the books. Because they're very difficult to find, VCAA assessor reports don't include many and I don't have much of an idea of what the assessors are really after.

The idea sounds great btw! Hopefully the website will be ready before the 2010 exam..

If you've produced them yourself (great job if you do do this btw, that's a lot of effort to produce that many study guides!) then there isn't any problem with you posting them. In fact I'm strongly in support of this effort. My only concern was if you were to post commercial study guides, then VN may get into some legal trouble which would be no good for anyone.
