hmm.... start something like this....
One of the greatest myths about conflict is that the effect of its occurance is always devastating and shattering. However, what if conflict isn't all bad? What if when we encounter conflict, we gain more than we lose? HIstory demonstrates that the hardships and troubles resulting from conflict have the potential to result in the most positive of outcomes and cause social progress within society even though it may not be a 'neat closure'. The dilemmas encountered by individuals in crisis not only help them grow as people but often bring out unexpected heroic qualities in them.
As individuals we are predisposed to placing importance on personal happiness and peace, disregarding the problems faced by those we do not care for. But it is when conflict arises that individuals disregard such personal resentments for one another and unite as one to overcome such a calamity, for during crisis individuals are united by a sense of sympathy and understanding.
* then go on to talk about the the 'Black Saturday Bushfires' and how there was that fireman who saved the koala and so on... lol Good luck
