What VCE subjects are people doing this year?!

it's like that in my studio arts class, the year 11's are divided into one half of the room.. we do the same sort of work, it works alright.. it's not possible to have 1/2 with 3/4 in subjects like maths or business but it just works with studio arts and IT as the stuff is basically the same.

i have a unit 1/2 and 3/4 combined class for economics. I dont recommend it, but the teacher does p;ace more importance on the yr 12's which is good to see

Hmmm, that would be a bit awkward... is it luck of the draw that you get placed in a mixed class or are there others like it?

Lol we had units 1+2 3+4 business management run in the same class... worked well, as some of it was related

economics: interesting and can be challenging
psych: easy easy easy
hhd: interesting but alot to remember
eng: worst subject
religon & Society: 2007 SS 31, didnt try at all

aiming for an enter of: 80+

I havn't added my subs to this so here goes!

Renaissance 3/4= Interesting content about the transformation into modern life, really great sub, time seems to go past quickly here though it requires a lot of note taking / reading (hopefully 40+)
Eng Lang 3/4= Pretty good, lots of essays needed (Hopefully 40+ raw)
Methods 1/2 = Meh, its OK, not too difficult (40 raw)
Chem 1/2 = PHAILING HARDCORE FOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKK (30 raw)
Further 1/2 = 2 easy (45+ raw)
English 1/2 = prefer eng lang !!!!

My subjects:
2007: Psychology - 30 (Don't ask, didn't study, basically rote learned, lucky to get anything over 20

2008: Italian: My lucky charm. Getting excellent results in SAC's, going to charm the assessor of my oral.... But will ultimately get a C or B in the exam (35 raw)
        English: Not too bad. Average is A on SAC's, and am pretty confident about the exam (40 raw)
        Legal Studies: Brilliant SAC results.... Won't finish the exam due to poor time management skills (35 raw)
        Methods: B+ average... Will die in the exams (30-35 raw)
        Specialist: Don't ask... (30 raw is all I want...)
All this may hopefully add up to a 90 study score (If not... TAFE for me )

I think they arent weird at all, maybe drama doesnt fit in though.

English- easy and very interesting

Chem- also easy and intersting

Physics-incredibly hard and boring, plus i am in a really crappy class

Spesh- not as hard as expected (i got a tutor which makes it easy)

Methods- doing spesh really helps with methods, espescially calculus section

Revs- did it last year, found it very boring because i took a very "marks orientated" approach to it, you gotta sort of get into to enjoy and do well in it.

Ended up with a 38 which i was happy about it.
