Hi all,

Thought it may be fun to post up a quiz for you all to try. Now you will be able to think about some of your learning styles and maybe slightly modify you approach if things are not going as you planned Enjoy!

I just took this test, i scored 8/10

There was a question that was a bit unclear, not sure what number it was, but i remembered it was something like this

Have Methods SAC on Wednesday
Have Chemistry SAC on Friday
and Physics Test on Thursday

It was unclear as i thought the Methods and Chemistry was on the same week, after reading the solutions, realizing that the methods sac is NEXT week, the question was badly organized.

Other than that, its a pretty good test =)

Yeh sorry about that - the methods is next week ... 8/10 is pretty good - seems like you are on a good path

As I said ----- the pass rate is 80% its just a quiz to test your attitude/approach

honestly this test is ineffectual and obviously bases the answers on one population (med/law students etc).
What really annoyed me was seeing the question *why do i want to achieve an atar of over 90* or something like that, and the answer was "to get into my uni course". My course is quite low, 70~ (aviation), however I'm still aiming for a 92+ to feel good that i achieved something, albiet this was supposedly the "wrong answer"

imo it's a waste of time

I see your point - this test is not meant to be a be all end all, its just a bit of fun so don't please get too wound up about it - i am more testing the quiz maker then anything else

A lot of those questions have more than one correct answer... I know it's meant to be a bit of fun but it might be a bit misleading too

Like with anything in life there are many ways to getting to a particular goal. I am in no way saying that this is the only way of achievement - I am aware that as many students as there are there will be different approaches of studying based on the individual. These are just tips that helped my VCE students in the past - i am completely open to other opinions though
