Anyway you should aim to write 'four pages' for each essay but I wrote about 13 or so for my first essay and then 10 for my second in my exam.

I have typically large handwriting but it was the most I had ever written in an exam so towards the end everything was just scribbles and I didn't worry about filling up a line.
But yesss, typically eight words to a line?
