BIC's finest pen, hand-crafted with its' unique oblong shape and perfectly placed grip with an amazing texture. Gently, your hands caresses the pen, for something could not be so delicate, soft and invincible. As you raise the pen like it is an animated lion cub, the sunlight gilds the edge of it, and the engraved words "BIC Atlantis" gleam wetly in your gentle grasp.
You cannot resist it in anymore, you must have intercourse with the pen. You tear off its' lid and begin to write.
The ink does not just come out, it rolls out, hugging the paper with such love that your hands glide motionless as you write. No, let me correct myself. You do not simply "write" with the BIC Atlantis, you weave together a fable, a legend.
When the examiner opens your exam-paper, he shields his eyes momentarily, for he has not seen such divine beauty, ever. The perpetual dark blue glow of the ink leaves him  awe-inspired. He deeply gazes at each word you've crafted, torrents of water flow from his eyes for he has never felt such a surreal experience. The tears soak the paper, but the ink remains, it is not simply living on the paper, it is married to it. The moment you began crafting your fable, the ink and paper exchanged vows, 'till death to us part'.
This is not simply a pen, it is a reason to write.

So yea... this is why you should buy this pen. It made me the man I am today.

LOL send this pen along with your essay. The examiners will be so impressed because they get a free pen and they can glide the pen over your essay to carve out that well deserved 10/10

If it wasn't so long it would be worthy for someone to use on their signature for the forum :P

Pen wise the four pens I found were okay but not too great if you needed to write for a long period of time due to them being a bit harder to write with.
However, most people prefer different pens. Some like those that write darker whereas others don't. Although, with all the help on this thread with suggestions if one pen fails you there will be plenty left to try out xD.

Hmmm so you want something thats easy to write and doesn't hurt your fingers...

+

one of those thin grips + plus a bic pen = funny look, but works :)

+
for pacers:
need to use these more elastic grips because pentel pacers are thicker,
and the 0.5 Pentel pacers are much better than the 0.7/0.9 BIC pacers

btw.... any grip that looks like this hurt.. especially this one (why is the rubber so hard?)

well the limit can turn into a threshold..

Are you kidding me man? The best pen you've ever used is the black staedtler pen you kidnapped in Year 10 English.

A Parker "Jotter" will last you more than a year. Also, the weight and design is optimal for speed writing, from the precision of the strokes. The neatness of your writing will increase tenfold.

EDIT: It's cheap too

A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

I just pick one off the ground/find one somewhere and if it works use it. Pretty simple.
