Use a triangle of forces is WAY faster than resolving for T1 + T2
2009: Math methods: 50, Psychology: 44
2010: chem 47, further 48, Spesh 49 fml seriously and other yr 11 subs.

if you're still stuck
you know T1sin45+T2sin45 = 5g
each string shares the same amount of tension due to being symmetrical ie 45deg
so T1=T2
therefore you can say T1sin45=2.5g
and etc
