as above

also, what are your studying techniques? there is SO much to learn.. almost impossible.

Not only is it dates, figures, facts, historians.. but all that for ANOTHER revolution also ):

I have all my notes written down (but I'm actually fixing up my notes for Russia now, i've left it far too late *starts pulling hair out*) and I read over them. I use dot points, memorise the dot point, then go on to the next dot point and after memorising that, I revise the first dot point and the most recent dot point together. it's not a strategy I would recommend, can take up to an hour to memorise a single page, and even then the details are sketchy :(

i'm somehow enjoying it though, revolutions tell a story which I find more enjoyable to read than notes for other subjects.

China's really annoying me though, the cultural revolution is somewhat misleading because of the name and very confusing

good day sir

thats the same with me buddy, i was actually writing some up today ): its rather stressful, although it is on the 11th of nov. so we do have a bit to go still.

oh unlucky, im doing french and russian, the two most popular ones, so it is easy to find resources etc.

it is enjoyable though :D so i guess thats a pro.

good luck !

I've finished studying the first half of Russia (1905-1917) and have half-finished both parts of China (together spanning 1898-1976.)

I'm aiming for 70% on the exam because that's an A, which I believe is 35-38ish. My SAC scores so far have been 75% 65% and 80%, although the second of those was the result of laziness in my opinion.

Edit: To study I hand-write notes from the PowerPoints our teacher provides us and do practice questions from a work book we have.

history class hasn't been to useful for me this year. my teacher wrote the most vague notes, had to go through both the russian and chinese text books by myself. condensed both text books into about 60 pages of notes though. learning the quotes is the hard part, and understanding the cultural revolution.

I've finished studying the first half of Russia (1905-1917)

it's weird how the first half of the russian revolution spanning triple the amount of years of the second half contains less than half of the content that needs to be known.

i got an A when i did rev exam and i think did pretty well on sacs but ended up with B+ B+ for them and got 32...so maybe if ur sacs turn out A A you probably get 35?...maybe the A was from the lower range though so i dunno

I suppose it is weird. The second half of China is even longer (27 years) but is relatively easy compared to Russia Part 1 in my opinion.

What were your SAC scores before scaling? It must have been a low A. That's scary. =(

How is that possible though? An A is like the top 20% of the state I think.

mines from 2007 report

i got 116-130/160 for the exam

and 63-73/100 and 61-73/100 for sacs

so the median sac score was B+ B+

and exam was C+... so i guess if you got B+B+C+ you got 30?

lol no idea

According the 2007 report, roughly 22% got A or above. In an SS, that's roughly 35/36 given 35 is the top 25%. It still doesn't make any sense. Are you positive you got an A?

Considering what you just added to your post, you'd be implying a C+ was 30 and A a 32. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
