Just got 64/80 on an exam 2 and TEN of my lost marks were from stupid dumb mistakes. I desperately need tips on how to eliminate such mistakes, or I'm screwed.

I feel your pain.  The problem is, I am making more and more dumb mistakes than I ever used to.  Multi choice used to be my bread and butter.  I would ace it every time.  Now, for one reason or another, I always fall into stupid traps.

Kyzoo, I know you posted up your methods for reducing careless errors somewhere.  Can you link me.

I feel my exam technique is horrid at the moment.

0.o I've totally changed my attitude towards exam technique since Unit 3 exams, so whatever I've posted on this forum abuot reducing careless mistakes isn't reflective of my current mindset.

Basically, exam technique is 30159318051380 times simpler than I previously believed it to be.

Simple Formula. Proness = Decently healthy lifestyle (so your mental capacity is maximised) + concentration + the correct mental procedures programmed into your head.

Make sure they are programmed in Haskell or something like that rather than C or Java, u don't wanna write x=x+1 on a math exam.

If anyone wants to do an extremely easy exam, however i do think it's a nice one since it tests understanding of concepts, then NEAP 06 exam 1.

No, MHS doesen't have standards, its just that less people at our school get less than 95 than anyone else, or something like that.

Melb Grammar still produces more of the "top" students
