hey guys

so lets say .. i download a movie .. its in Mp4 file .. or video or whatever file it is that i play on media player lol.
how do i .. ( what converter do i use) to convert the file .. to a format which can be used in itunes so that i can play it on my ipod?.

Kus it wont let me add movies in the normal form they are

Get real player. It comes with a converter and trimmer. It's free to download and it like gives you like not the type of file it converts to but what devices the file can be played on. You'll see what i mean when you download it.  Nice and easy to use, even for a tech noob like me >.<

iTunes has a built in .mp4 to .mp3 converter but i'm assuming you want video and not just the audio. So in that case, you will want to convert to any of the formats playable through iTunes, this can be done through Videora iPod Converter.

HandBreak has worked excellently for me!

I highly recommend it.

Realplayer has a pretty big reputation for being bloatware, I'd try one of the other suggestions (eg Handbreak) first

but it ran out of days ( trial was 30 days)
and i dont have the password :(

bloatware = software that isn't malware but is particularly slow/useless and has better alternatives
