Unit 3 and 4 Notes

Hi Guys,
I've attempted to condense my notes down, whilst keeping them exhaustive - so here they are for all to share.
I'm a student, just like you guys so i do not claim them to be free of errors, so in the interest in helping all those on here, please read over them, let me know if there are any errors, obmissions etc and I shall adjust accordingly!

The legislative process bit could do with a bit more detail. for division of powers; education is not solely residual, only primary and secondary education is- tertiary is not. You accidently wrote S51 when talking about S109 on page 6. you mentioned right to vote, we were told to just stick to political communication cos that is more clear cut, but I spose you could talk about it if you wanted. Canada- parliament can override excluding mobility and democratic rights (not just mobility). Also, in canada you didn't mention anything about the courts! was this because it was a short version of your notes?

In your avoiding precedents section, see a thread on this board titled 'disaproving precedents' or something, I thought the same thing as you do... but it's a little bit different.

I stoped reading when I got to the stuff about ellements of an effective legal system, but it seems prety good to me. All the little errors just look like freudian slips. Thanks for the contribution.
