Yeah, it does, but it provide some insight as to how readers should imagine the characters eg pinstripe for the administrators Rich and Cromwell.

Well things like at the end where More is positioned away from the others, with black lighting, could be interpreted as demonstrating the moral separation of the characters.

A few which I think are of importance:
-"Trappings of justice are flown upwards" suggesting that there's no more justice in da house and shiz.
-"leaving more isolated in light" after he is called by Cromwell, suggests his uniqueness in the society.
-I especially like how when more is about to get executed he is walking up a staircase where the light present at the head of staircase is "dazzlingly brilliant" symbolising him ascending to a spiritual reward.

But you can use them in your essay!

e.g to highlight how Bolt presents More as admirable, he uses the dazzling light at the staircase (symbolises a better place) although he is on his way to get beheaded!
