assuming they give you sin (angle)=a and sin(180-angle)=a, and the one at the top is the one your finding, they both equal a, meaning that 180-angle and angle are the same, and since its equilateral i think, the bottom two angles are the same, meaning all three angles are the same, meaning its just 60 degrees, but you say the symbol means different angle?

Hope this gets you somewhere  :-\

im just crap at explaining stuff,

since sin(angle) =a and sin (180-angle)=a, then sin(angle)=sin(180-angle)hence,

(angle)=(180-angle)

in the picture you have, the two lines going through the side edges, it means the triangle is a (i forget the name), it means that the two base angles are the same. Since the base angle on the right=(180-angle), then the base angle on the left =(180-angle), and since we know (180-angle)=angle, then all three angles are 180-angle, which means they are all the same. So they must all be 60 degrees, meaning the angle is 60 degrees?

Thats the only thing i can come up with  :(

The angle can't be sixty degrees, it has to be between 90 and 135 degrees or the shape is impossible.

Wait, that's useless info, the sine of an angle is always equal to the sine of 180 - angle. ==

We're trying to find the angle I'd assume.

I'm pretty sure this is impossible, if it's not then I'm ashamed of myself for saying so. =P
