I don't like itute solutions. I prefer detailed ones, rather than the way the set theirs up. ( Look at Spesh 2009 worked solutions )


VN's ones are better. ^.^

It's looking good. Still unsure about the K question - it seems like my calculator let me down - or there was more than one answer. . .

What about the k question?
Every time I tried a different technique, I received a different answer for K on my CAS - in fact after spending 6-7 minutes on that 1 mark question (wtf was i thinking>?) I managed to find multiple values of K (both negative and positive) that satisfied the given equation. Like. . WTF??

First I put down -.0004 or something like that. Then I worked it out manually - with e's in the numerator and denominator - and then I realized that k>0 (because It is already Negative within the function), so I found another few values of k - one of which I settled on (3.4 something or other.  .)

Not to sure about 1 M.C. - and one of the 'show that questions' - otherwise I'm pretty stoked; Just hoping for a lenient examiner for both Exam 1+2 :)
But then again - I'm constantly afflicted by silly errors. I don't like speculating, but I'm definitely hoping to beat my Methods score from last year.

Don't worry about it, come 13 dec you'll jump for joy at an amazing score that scales >50. Reckon you can get near a scanner with that exam? if truetears gets same answers as you, you know it's right :P

What ever happened to them releasing the answers in that nice little compact PDF-format?

I don't like it as a post, much prefer VN's solutions! :)
