Maybe there will be a topic suggesting the notion of a decline in face-to-face communication (now with texting, facebook etc)

Knowing luck, there will be gay topics on the historical roots of AusEng instead :P

This is my fear.
I'm so scared that they pull the most bizarre questions that we aren't familiar with, as the essay topics are getting more 'difficult' each year.
Ah well.... :\

Nahh, it will be okay.  That topic is dumb.  They always seem to give topics which are relevant to contemporary Australia.

And to get 3 shit topics would just be cruel.

My biggest fear is getting 2 okay topics, then having to choose one...

Learned doublespeak but the term public language isnt anywhere in my notes. If it comes up I aint writin on it.

I want something like broad, gen, cultivates, SAE. Or influence of technology. identity, idiolects, ethnolects etc would be ok but not ideal. euphemisms and PC would be sweet.
