last question on trig was using
similar triangles... i hope...

you calculate the scale factor of the base apply it to the height
plus 4.5m  i got 7.75m..... omg hope im right

i believe were right though. cutting off the rectangle below and finding the scale factor yeah? thats what i did too. =)

its definitely 7.75 no doubts about it. easy exam i'd say.

I had a look, it was a bit harder harder than last years, a few tricks but the standards are the same.

I got 324/64. Which is like 5.078.  I left it as a fraction cos they didn't tell us to round off :S

not necessarily, although to some extent that maybe the case. i wont say that for the upper end though. 1mark=1ss i think would still be the penalty.

Seems to make sense if they push it up a little. But then again if the cutoffs for the grades such as an A or A+ are higher then I would assume that the SS's would be a little higher. I dont think that makes sense at all :S

i did it two different ways
(similar triangles and trig)
and both time got 7.75
