Hi there fellow busman enthusiasts. I was wondering if anyone can assist me with qantas and globalization. As far as I know the organisation responded by expanding jetstar into Asia pacific. Is that true and is that a significant issue example I can use for Kotter? Thank you!

when applying to Kotter you must provide an example for each of the 8 steps

for example at my school, we learnt about Woolworths decision to get into hardware... so they merged with Lowe's and took over Dank's.

For Step 1, (Creating urgency) We will state that WW bought 12 sites immediately and has 15 under negotiation.

So if you cannot apply Qantas to every step, i dont recommend using it :)

I was just unsure if I was correct in saying that qantas' response to globalization was in fact it's exansion of Jetstar into The Asia-Pacific region so if anyone knows that would be great. Anybody actually using qantas?

well it would most definitely be an example of globalization.

they are expanding into new regions of the globe, and that is essentially what the whole concept of globalization is.

So yea buddy use it :)
