Out of the whole state - I estimate 6% got the 5 marks.

if too many people get the 35, would VCAA make >36 the A+? i mean lets say

36+ / 40 = 8% got it
but if they put it down to 35 / 40, then 20% would get it

i doubt they would split the 35 into half and say you go in the A region and you go in the A+ region.

They can....

They use your GAT if your Between a B and B+ for example to determine which way you go.... (hooray for overheard convos on the bus?)

In that case it wouldn't make a difference, the only advantage that comes from them NOT doing that is that we get to brag and say we got an A+ when in reality it's pretty much just a high A or low A+ or whatever.

True. But I doubt that everyone who didn't get the 5 marks wouldn't have made a stupid mistake somewhere else and this would somewhat spread out the mark distribution... I don't know because I didn't sit this exam, but if hypothetically you didn't solve 11 a), you wouldn't be able to get consequential marks for b) and c), right? Because if they're 1 mark questions, the 1 mark is for the correct answer.
