I stuffed up this big time
I wrote the inverse was:


is this wrong??
VCE 2010: Eng 42 | Legal 49 | Chem 37 | MM 34 | Indo SL 33 |
ATAR: 97.45

I graphed it and my equation is the same as

You don't have to show working out do you? I just wrote whatever my calc said..

It was three marks, so you'd want some working there.

That's what you're meant to do :P
That qn tests whether you can do the qn on your calc - the working out is important for exam 1

The equation in your first post is equivalent to the "typical" answer whereas the one in the second isn't.
Most people would have taken divided by the 2 before raising it to e, which is why you have a square root (since you applied the power property of logs).
