I did legal studies in 2007, so that exam was my real exam.
About a third of my class didn't finish it... so yeah... it was a long exam.

I wouldn't stress too much about it, so long as you at least got somewhere close to finishing.
If you didn't, then I'd advise you to be more conscious about the need to "leave a Q and move on".

Good luck for tomorrow =)

I had a tutor for one session a couple of months abo just to pollish up my exam technique... I showed her the 2007 exam I did and it was one of the most humiliating moments of my life :( :P

I think it was hard because there were stupid questions which should have been worth more marks cos they took lots of time... But the knowledge required wasn't all that dificult, just legnthy questions.

edit: I just looked at the grade disrtibution... 99 is an A+ in 2007! You could have completely skiped the last question and still got an A+.

my advice: do 2009 VCAA. major confidence boost. 2009 is not hard, in my opinion, 2007 was just VCAA trying to be a bitch. None of the other exams i've come across have been that lengthy, and this years exam is only 11 questions, not 13.

I found the 3 mark question with the 18 year old difficult but thats cause I barely know my jurisdictions and the likes but the major 'hard' factor is the sheer amount of questions....

I remember doing this exam for practice last year. It was SOOOOOOO difficult I wanted to cry! I think I ended up getting like 69% for it or something like that. But I ultimately got a 40 for Legal in 2009 (hopefully one of my 10% subjects) so don't feel too bad about it...
English: 46 / Literature: 42 / Legal: 40 / Methods: 37 / Spec: 33 / Chem: 31 (I regret doing this subject!)

ATAR = 97.10

If you just look at the exam it seems easy, but once you try and do it under you realise how much you have to write. All the content was simple, but there was too much to write.

I hope we get a harder one because to only drop 7 marks last year for a low A+ seems difficult. I cant see myself getting an A+, legal requires too much time, time i dont have considering my shitty exam timetable.

Questions 6 was my only struggle on the 2007 exam. I always thought that if you were sent a court summons you must attend at the court listed on the summons. According to the answers he has a choice. Hmmmmmmm!
