im certain its A, cause the question mentioned something along the lines of they have the same loudness of something like that, which means the amp was the same??
thoughts?

I dont know anymore =D these arguments for B are quite convincing, so we can only really confirm if we have a copy of the paper.

yes same loudness.... but the microphone characteristics showed that it was more sensitive around 3000 Hz. Which means that the energy of the output signal was greater... so B!

if it explicitly states that q9 is part of q10 then i reckon it has to be B..

xD I'm in the same position but I don't really care that much if it turns otu to be B, its onyl 2 marks.

pretty sure 10 is B

+1

yeah i think it should be B, it said they were the same intensity, but u had to refer the the graph, and the microphone was more sensitive to the higher frequency sound, so its amplitude had to be higher than the other sound.
Mr.Chan hits the point home.

this is what me and other guys wrote on another thread

BBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo

It's B

It goes "the sound intensity is exaclty the same when it reaches the microphone"

I initially put A, but then re-read the question, and when i saw microphone, i'm like "WHAT MICROPHONE WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABO-... OHHHHHHHH this is a continuation of question 9"

Cos it goes "please refer to the following graph for questions 9 and 10"

SOOOO the output for the 3khz sound would be higher as read by the CRO which is attached to the mic because the mic is more sensitive to the sound at 3khz compared to the 1khz.

SO LOCK IN B EDDIE
