At my school we did Globalisation and for the SAC we has to learn a case study? Will I need to know one for the exam or will they all be provided? Thanks

For the 10 mark, if it's Kotters then you may (good chance) need to know a case study to represent that you know the concepts and how it can be applied in the real world. I am unsure whether or not they will provide a case study for all 7 questions, but I'm betting it won't be for Kotters

Basically as long as you can provide an example for every question you will not need to worry whether or not you are required a case study.

Eg. A restraining force for change represses change to occur. For example the outsourcing of the core of Pacific Brands manufacturing from Australia to China has led to employees resisting change through industrial action (strikes/picket lines).

To add on, wherever a question doesn't ask you to refer to a case study, providing an example (if you have time/space) should show understanding and hence will reward you a mark

thanks for that, you really saved me some time. I has abotu a page of notes on a specific case study that I was going to memorise. Now I can the time to better use. When we provide an example does it have to be real? I mean can we say something like "a business" if we don't have a specific example?

example = real. If you are pulling a Mental Blank, think of a random LSO (a known one) and make up some random bull shit that sounds real (Eg. In 2006, profits at Boost Juice LTD were at their all time low, and now after their successful advertising campaign (change) they have expanded in global regions with over 100 stores and see profits (after tax) in the millions, almost 500% more then that of 2006 - ok well you get the point you can make up a better one). What examiner will want to search it up? :P

QR Rail privatised to a corporation (from a government department)
Australia Post introduced technologies to combat complaints in service (and mail time)
Pacific brands outsourced (globalised) their operations into china (2008)
PricewaterhouseCoopers offers 3 days of paid volunteer work every year per worker which is an act of social responsibility

Good luck
