Not doing any work for legal last year. I could've gotten a decent score had I put the effort in.

I would be stoked with 41.

Agreed! Only 8.7% of students get 40+ (so I've been told) so that's awesome :D
2009 - Psychology (44)
2010 - English (45), German (42), Revolutions (37), Geography (42), Legal Studies (38)
ATAR - 98.55
2011 - (Probably) Arts at Melbourne Uni

Soo many:

-Not doing UMEP/MUEP (our school never mentioned it to us)
-Not doing Specialist
-Not doing any 3/4 in y11 (I didn't get the one I wanted in y10 so I had to reset my subjects)
-Going to school with shitty cohorts
-Doing regular English
-Not doing Further

It's amusing me how all my regrets have not been my fault. It's my school.

I've thought of another one. Not allowing us to take National Politics. Because I would have got ridiculously good marks in that.

Not doing spesh for the sole reason that I didn't want to conform to the Asian stereotype (well, also to piss off my parents)

In the ideal world, yes. Unfortunately doesn't always happen and we can't do anything but learn from them i guess.
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

- Not doing more humanities type subjects
- Dropping French in year 11
- Skipping school so much
- Slacking off in MUEP maths
- Stopping extra-curricular stuff like music
- VTAC preferences: should've thought about them better.
- TSFX. Boring shit.

Can't you change your VTAC preferences in December when results come out?

I mean afterwards, and two years afterwards as well. Also never thought much about irregular offers. Partly because I don't know what I want to do yet, and never really did. Such is life.

Definitely was not taking any 3/4's during Year 11.

Don't think my school would have let me anyways, due to my poor performance in Year 10. But would have loved to have done IT:Apps & Further in 2009. Would have given my ATAR such a big boost ;) Would have easily scored a 40+ in Apps...
Just your average student...

VCE 2010 - English 30 | Further Maths 37 | Soft Dev 40 | Economics 29 | VET IT 0
ATAR - 73.05
2011 - Information Technology Industry Scholarship Program @ Swinburne Uni :D

lol for me, even after the whole exam period for methods I still had no idea how it would affect my ENTER (studied like 3x more for my yr 11 subs) :/. If I knew I probably would have tried a little harder

Not doing Philosophy 3/4...somehow.  Still not sure if I made the right choice doing MUEP Philosophy instead, sigh.

Doing Spesh (it took the most time AND will probably yield the worst result >.>).

Not doing Latin back in like...year 7.  Although I'm not sure how my subjects would have looked this year as a result.

At that, not continuing French back in like, year 9.  Although it has the same problem as Latin (seven 3/4s in year 12 yeahhhh).

NOT WORKING HARDER.  (I AM STILL PROCRASTINATING WHAT IS THIS)

Probably should have done more commerce related subjects instead of wasting my time on science.
