Do you know:

Unit Three
- The different types of LSOs and what makes them different?
- At least 2 positive and 2 negative contributions that LSOs make?
- What an LSO is? How do you define one?
- all the members and stakeholders of each environment, what their interests and impacts are?
- 4 financial and 4 non-financial KPIs and why they are necessary?
- the different management structures and can you apply them to case studies? Challenge: Can you identify the pros and cons of each!?
- POLC inside out, and can you apply each to different functions/objectives?
- 8 skills?
- The difference between skills and roles?
- What ESRM is? Why to do it, why not to?
- The elements of operations?

- ESRM of OpMan?
- Where your kids are?

Unit Four
- What HRM is, and how it relates business strategy.
- Employee expectations (inc. W/L Balance)
- How to apply, define and compare/contrast the three motivational theories?
- How ESRM relates here?
- The stages of employment, the strategies used within them and how the HRM is involved in all of these.
- Different types of employment arrangements?!
- What IR/ER is?
- Role of HRM in it?
- the impact of it on objectives?
- The difference between centralised/decentralised?
- Styles and skills in ER?
- What change is?
- Restraining/Driving forces?
- High/Low risk tactics - which is better?

Wow, im suprised i know most of these :) Except where my kids are ;)
hey just a quick q tho; In the sample questions Q7 is 'Evaluate whether low risk practices are preferable to high risk practices to achieve effective change' The question is worth 6 marks and has 24 lines to answer it. Im struggling to write half a page for it. What would be the key points you need to make to get all 6 marks and do you find it a bit too many marks for that q? or just me lol?

I'm a quantitative indicator kind-of-guy, and the thirteen pages I have on ESRM notes bore me to death.

ESRM in change is obviously just going about change in an ethical and socially responsible manner, true? Just ask yourself: what could change agents do to be ethical or socially responsible?

yeh so I assume it's just kinda common sense? Providing employees with sufficient time and the capabilty to fulfill the change? Not firing an employee who doesn't immediately grasp the change? Etc

esrm. For example an org' decides to outsource some of its functions overseas to china in search of cheap labour, this change will cause a loss of jobs (which is unethical on behalf of the org' as they are not being loyal to their employees). Also outsourcing overseas may be viewed by customers as exploiting these cheaper labourers which is also an unethical practice and will cause customers to take their business elsewhere.
