commerce and business degree question...

ok it stumped me when a person asked me what is the difference of doing a monash bacheolar of commerce (major accounting) and monash bacheolar of business(major accounting)... when i looked at the VTAC guide it looks basically the same ... in terms of structure... u can even mimic everything offered in the commerce... so is there anything different? is commerce degree more prestigious?

also i wanted to know what career pathways can a major in business law/taxation (i think its this one) lead too... like what companies would hire you.. and what is the general graduate salary and can it grow significantly after a couple of years... ?

Bachelor of Business is for those who can't get into Bachelor of Commerce and have to put up with a hole of a Campus (Monash Caulfield).

Really? Is the campus there that bad?.... :( Because I'm thinking of transferring there possibly for next year for the double degree Accounting and Banking and Finance. I would transfer to monash clayton commerce because I got the enter and GPA but it's 2 far away and I would have to move out.

Oh it is, it is. It doesn't really have that much of a campus feel, it's just a few random buildings. All Monash Victorian campuses apart from Clayton are pretty small... Defs a significantly downgrade from Deakin(?) There's also a significant amount of postgrads/international students compared to Clayton.

It's a shame you can get in but live far away =[
