Yes but I already answerd in all of the lines above the question itself with nothing about kotter. Right at the end the last possible thing I just chucked him in there, surely they cant take marks off because of it?

What if you did both? Like I did the full page and a half on what the question asked and the issue that our school studied. then right at the end wrote something like "For any company to get sucessful change they should implement kotters theory, the first step is to...etc etc etc". only took like 3 lines.

Is that ok? or will I loose marks?
If you did both that's fine. Assessors read everything. Even if some parts are wrong as long as the others aren't you get the marks. Not many subjects are marked like this. Btw, An experienced bus man assessor told me this last year. It's LEGIT INFO.

Yepp. You would probably want to talk about; what the issue was, the case study, 3 driving/3 restraining forces in your case study, and perhaps a conclusion? Thats what i did... confirmation anyone?

Yep I spoke generally first about driving and restraining forces.
Then I mentioned the change issue- acquisition- Kraft's acquisition of Cadbury and discussed driving and restraining in relation to the acquisition. Also was important to say that organisations must ensure that the number of restraining forces does not outnumber the number of driving forces to ensure the implementation of change can be successful.

Thats why I feel the exam was grossly imbalanced. NOTHING on skills, ER, roles, contributions of LSO's, Kotter

I could go on and on...

You are totally right sajib, it was much like the eco exam that left so much new things to the course out.
I cant believe we didnt mention communication, Kotter, and as you said the contributions of LSO's... i went to a lecture and both lecturers emphasized that point so much

that did throw me off

although i used the process of elimination

skills = communication etc
roles = POLC
strategies = technology, perf. appraisals etc

therefore functions = Fin.RandD Operations HR Marketing

And the excuse of "its a new study design" doesn't even cut it. The amount of content that we've had to learn hasn't actually increased, it's just that a lot of it has changed. Now we see that these incompetent, power hungry administrators are exposed for who they really are...

For the last question on driving and restraining forces, I actually ran out of time, although i filled 2/3 of all the space but didn't complete my answer. What would it take o get 6/10 marks for this question? I mentioned 3 driving/restraining forces and illustrated them each with my example of BP oil spill, but parts were too brief for my own liking... Any ideas?

Was talking about globalisation in the last question necessary? All i did was define driving and restraining forces, then identified 3 driving forces (one from the internal environment, operating environment, macro environment) and 3 restraining forces which affected an organisation that i wrote on.
