Hmmm, I read somewhere from the forum that it actually specified you to write a letter, but this was in the chinese part, which I didn't bother reading. I am not sure if you can argue that since it is not in the english instruction, writing it in a letter format with the picky date on the bottom is unnecessary. Well, I did leave the date out, but I believed that they should not penalise us for leaving the date out. Though if competition gets stiff, I can see that they might nitpick at us. Well, I am not too sure, but when writing invitaitons cards or whatever, to birthday parties and stuff... Do people usually include the date of the day at the bottom? That's worth finding out. Hope someone may shed some light on this issue, but from my previous experience, invitations cards that I have received does not have the date of the current day on the top or the bottom like a letter would. But as I said, I am not sure!

And theres always the argument of vague instructions, and thus no students should be penalized ^^
